Basle camping info - Camping Waldhort Reinach/Basel campsite

The Waldhort campsite lies on the outskirts of Basel in a pleasant location in the protected Reinacherheide region. The camping ground stretches to over 33,000 square metres and there are 135 permanent camping plots. Facilities onsite include modern sanitary facilities, a shop and snack bar, a children's playground and two swimming pools.

This Basle campsite is handily located for numerous activities. Close by is the public swimming pool with nearby tennis courts and football pitches for sports fans as well as table tennis and badminton facilities. Public transport (via the tram) can be found just a few minutes from the campsite, while the surrounding countryside is a protected area and offers many hiking, walking and cycling trails for nature lovers.

The Waldhort camping ground is a picturesque base from which to explore the historic city of Basle - and with so many activities on offer close at hand and easy access to the city, it's convenient too.
