Around a million tickets will be available for Euro 2008 and UEFA insist that 75% of Euro 2008 tickets will be sold at affordable prices to real fans.
Tickets will go on sale in the spring of 2007 and will be available exclusively through euro2008.com. Officials at UEFA have stated that they consider the internet to be the 'fastest, safest and easiest channel' through which to apply for tickets.
Ticket prices for Euro 2008 will be decided at a later stage but following the disgraceful allocation of tickets during the 2006 World Cup, UEFA are keen to stress that the distribution of tickets for Euro 2008 will be fairer.
Sponsors and official commercial partners will be allocated around 15% of Euro 2008 tickets. Media representatives and other VIPs will be given a nominal amount.
